- you can place an order for a book by clicking the "Order" button next to an available item with the status "on the shelf",
- the book can be collected from the Lending Desk within 7 days of receiving the e-mail confirming the reservation,
- Placing an order does not guarantee its fulfillment, even if the book has the status "on the shelf" in the system:
-
- priority is given to users who borrow books directly from the free access section of the Circulation,
- Several orders may be placed for one copy of a book by different users within a short period of time - the system will accept all of them, but the book will be left for the first person in the queue of ordering.

-
Reminders and notifications:
- users who provided an e-mail address in the ump.edu.pl domain when registering their Reader Account are sent reminders about the approaching book return/extension deadline and notifications about exceeding it,
- the lack of an e-mail notification from the Library about the expiry of the return deadline for borrowed books does not exempt the reader from the overdue fees,
- the lack of a valid e-mail address on the individual account in the library system means that it is not possible to send system notifications to the user, including information regarding order fulfillment.
- the borrower is fully responsible for the timely return/extension of borrowed materials (return dates can be checked after logging in to the Reader's Account),
- borrowed materials can be returned:
-
- in the Circulation Desk on the XNUMXst floor,
- to the book drop box located in the building's lobby, during the Library's opening hours (only books with a blue sticker on the spine),
