Medical Subject Headings (MeSH®) is a controlled and hierarchically organized vocabulary developed by the National Library of Medicine® (USA), updated annually. It is used, among other things, to index publications in databases (e.g. MEDLINE®) and to catalog collections of books, journals and multimedia. The presented version of MeSHPol is the Polish translation of the original MeSH vocabulary.

Zotero Logo

Zotero is an easy-to-use, free application for collecting, managing, and citing bibliographic materials. It has a Polish language version. Zotero allows you to manage bibliographic descriptions of various publications, such as books, articles, book chapters, reports, conference proceedings, and websites. The program allows you to automatically download bibliographic data and full text (if available) from online library catalogs and customize the appearance of footnotes in the text. It integrates with web browsers and word processors.
It also allows for efficient metadata import using popular identifiers (such as DOI or ISBN). Zotero's functionality can be extended with plug-ins, allowing you to pull information into the program from websites or databases, and create footnotes and bibliographies in your chosen style directly within the text editor.
