Access to e-resources – students

 

Access within the university computer network

Any student, PhD student and employee of the Poznań University of Medical Sciences can become a user of licensed electronic resources. Active access to e-resources is possible from all computers and devices connected to the computer network on the premises of the Poznań University of Medical Sciences:

  • in the Main Library from desktop computers,
  • in PUMS units with desktop computers registered in the university computer network,
  • within the Eduroam PUMS system on personal mobile devices.

Remote access

The remote access service allows you to use e-resources from anywhere and is available exclusively to people with an active Reader Account:

  • employees, students, PhD students of PUMS,
  • students of PUMS postgraduate studies,
  • persons cooperating with the University and having a personal e-mail address in the domain: @ump.edu.pl.

Access procedure:

  • remote access to digital resources is only possible through the means provided on the Library's websiteInternet addresses of licensed electronic resources or via Multisearch engine,
  • Login to the system is required:
    • login: student/employee ID barcode number
    • password: password assigned to the Reader Account.

Terms of use of e-resources

Licensed e-resources may be used only for personal use, solely for research and educational purposes, in accordance with the terms of license agreements and copyright law.

Additional restrictions on the use of digital resources for specific user groups may result from licensing agreements for individual resources.

Data used to authorize access to e-resources cannot be made available to other people. Their use by other, unauthorized users violates the licensing terms of producers or suppliers of electronic resources and entails consequences provided for by law.
