Digitization of doctoral dissertations from 1946-89 processed at the Medical Academy in Poznań

The project received funding under the “Social Responsibility of Science” program implemented by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education – SONB/SP/467977/2020.
Implementation deadline: 1.09.2020-31.08.2022.
As part of the project, doctoral theses from the years 1946-1989, defended at the Karol Marcinkowski Poznan University of Medical Sciences (formerly the Medical Academy), were bibliographically processed and digitalized.
The aim of the work was to protect these dissertations and to disseminate information about the results of scientific research presented in them. The poor technical condition of most doctoral dissertations does not allow for their wide distribution.
As part of the task, 1159 digital documents were created and made available to users in the PUMS Main Library (PUMS repository on the Wielkopolska Digital Library platform).
