USING THE COLLECTIONS – DOCTORAL STUDENTS
The Main Library collects and makes available to users scientific and educational literature in the field of medical sciences, health sciences and related sciences.
We offer PhD students of the Poznań University of Medical Sciences the opportunity to use the Library's printed collections both by borrowing and using them on site at the Library.
CIRCULATION
We encourage PhD students of the Poznań University of Medical Sciences to use the Circulation.
The basis for borrowing books is having an active Reader Account in the Circulation Desk. PhD students with an active Account can borrow books for 180 days. They can have 20 items borrowed on their Account at the same time.
Books can be borrowed directly from the Circulaton's collection with free access to shelves or can be ordered via the computer catalogue.
Detailed information on the rules of using the Circulation Desk can be found on the website Circulation.
USE ON SITE
The collections made available on-site can be used by all interested users, without the need to register with the Circualtion Desk. This applies to both book collections made available in the Main Reading Room and periodicals made available in the Periodicals Reading Room.
It is possible to use books and periodicals outside the Reading Rooms, only on the Library premises. In such a case, however, the consent of the librarian on duty, filling in the order slip and showing the doctoral student ID are required.
Doctoral students with an active Reader's Account in the Circulation Desk can also borrow books from the Main Reading Room collections at night or during holidays. Books that the Library has in one copy are excluded from night and holiday borrowing. Loans are made immediately before the Library closes, and returned on a date agreed with the librarian.
